The official trailer of Raastha, starring Sarjano Khalid and Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam-fame Anagha Narayanan, has been released. The trailer of the film, directed by Aneesh Anwar, hints at a survival drama with a number of gripping sequences in a desert.
Aaradhya Ann, Sudheesh, Irshad Ali, T G Ravi, popular Omani actors such as Khamis Al Rawahi, Fakhreia Khamis, Shamma Saeed Al Barki, and other artists from the country are also part of this film.

Shahul and Faiz Voukra have written the script for Raastha. Vishnu Narayanan has helmed the camera work for the film. Film technicians from Oman have also worked in this movie.
Vishnu Mohan Sitara has composed the music for the songs, penned by B K Hari Narayanan, Venu Gopal R and Anwar Ali. Alphons Joseph, Sooraj Santhosh, Vineeth Sreenivasan, and Mridula Varier have sung for this movie. Afthar Anwar is the editor, while Rajesh Nenmara is the makeup artist.
Raastha, which has been shot in Bidiya, a province situated in the eastern region of Oman, and Muscat, will be released in theatres in Malayalam and Arabic on January 5. Dream Big Films is bringing the movie to the big screen.
The other directorial ventures of Aneesh Anwar include My Great Grandfather, Kumbasaram, and Mullamottum Munthiricharum. His other renowned work, Lal and Rima Kallingal-starrer Zachariayude Garbhinikal, had won four Kerala State Film Awards in 2013, including for Best Story and Special Jury. He has also worked on over 200 advertisements for various channels, including Asianet and Mathrubhumi.
Meanwhile, Sarjano Khalid is playing a prominent role in the Tamil horror film, Demonte Colony 2, and Malayalam family entertainer, Marivillin Gopurangal. He was last seen in Ranjith Sankar’s Malayalam flick, 4 Years, opposite Priya Prakash Varrier.
