The duo worked together in Rajkumar Hirani's 2009 blockbuster film, 3 Idiots co-starring Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor Khan. In a recent interview, Madhavan revealed an intriguing habit of Aamir and it is simply unbelievable!
While speaking to Just Too Filmy, the Tanu Weds Manu actor revealed that Aamir Khan, has an intriguing habit of going out and about, without carrying his wallet. He said, "I am never that extreme. Aamir's stardom allows him to be like that. Whatever he requires, he has people to pay for it. Of course, he would pay them... and it isn't like he doesn't pay for it. My personality doesn't allow me to walk around with an entourage. I prefer walking alone. I want that freedom, and the ability to interact with people."
He further added that he never goes over budget even though he is not too careful about his expenditures. If he hopes to buy a luxury car, he wouldn’t purchase it if it wasn’t in his budget. He also spoke about what his wife Sarita thinks of his financial matters. Madhavan added, "My wife thinks I am generous to a fault. And I am a fool. And I don’t know how to handle my money. She thinks I keep giving it away. I think I’m very particular about it, but she says not even from a remote corner are you particular about it. I spend what I have."
