Quiz: How big of a fan are you of the Mortal Kombat film series?

Adapted from the beloved video game franchise of the same name, the Mortal Kombat movies were released in 1995 and 1997, respectively. While the first film was a commercial success, the subsequent movie titled Mortal Kombat: Annihilation failed to impress viewers. The action film follows a martial arts tournament between the realms of Earth and Outworld.

Nevertheless, there have been two more TV shows and a new film, but none of them could amass the kind of fandom that the video games have sustained till date.

The 2021 version of Mortal Kombat, directed by Simon McQuoid and featuring Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, and Tadanobu Asano, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
