Queen of Tears is one of the most watched and most loved K-dramas of 2024. The heartwarming comedy romance series captures the hearts even months after its finale. Notably, the series, starring Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won, was crowned the Best tvN Program of 2024, earning 160,119 votes from viewers during the network’s 2024 Holiday Party Run with tvN. To celebrate this achievement, tvN has announced a special broadcast dedicated to the beloved drama. Fans cannot contain their excitement as they speculate whether the lead actors will reunite.

Queen of Tears won the Best tvN Program of 2024 and to celebrate the milestone, tvN announced a special broadcast dedicated to the drama.

A fan account of Kim Soo-hyun wrote on X, "Congratulations to #QueenOfTears as the 2024 Viewer-Selected Best tvN Program. “To celebrate its #1 ranking, a special episode of Queen of Tears is coming soon. Get ready to experience even greater emotions as we reunite with Queen of Tears. Details about the special episode will be revealed soon, so stay tuned.”

Fans react to Queen of Tears special broadcast

Reacting to the news, one fan wrote, "so excited for this but i gotta keep my expectations lowkey."

Another commented, "OMGGGGG!!!! Even if it’s a compilation of unreleased scenes or bts I will take it y’all don’t understand how much I missed them."

A third fan shared, "THEY BETTER GIVE LONGER VERSION OF CAR KISS SCENE."

Queen of Tears plot

The show follows the story of Baek Hyun-woo, a lawyer from a small village, and Hong Hae-in, the heiress of a wealthy South Korean conglomerate. The couple met, fell in love and married while interning at his grandfather's company. However, their marriage hits a rough patch when Hyun-woo feels neglected by his in-laws and Hae-in feels cold and withdrawn. When Hyun-woo decides to divorce, he learns that Hae-in has only three months to live. A crisis tests their bond further, but it can rekindle their romance.
