Telugu OTT platform aha is lining up an interesting show for audiences this weekend, Qubool Hai. Dealing with the issue surrounding child brides, marriages and trafficking pertaining to a community within Hyderabad, the show created by Pingle Pranav Reddy (also the producer) is co-directed by the former alongside Umair Hasan and Faiz Rai. The platform has been releasing a series of character posters, video from Qubool Hai over the week and has now launched the trailer of the same as well.

The platform describing Qubool Hai says, "Prapanchaaniki cheppe time ochindhi! Some stories need to be told. We proudly present 'Qubool Hai?' A fictionalised story of child marriages and trafficking. Coming to you on March 11th! #QuboolHaiOnAHA." In the trailer released on Women's Day, a few elderly men are looking to marry young girls and parents negotiating the monetary deal for them to go ahead with the alliance. However, a woman keeps suggesting that these are young girls after all and it's unfair to wreck havoc on their lives with early marriage.

There's a crime scene and the cops are on the hunt for a murderer and there are mentions of young girls who've gone missing. Vinay Varma and Sai Kamakshi Bhaskarla are the only familiar names in this glimpse but the authenticity of the setting and the intensity in the trailer catches you by surprise. The interesting mix of Deccani and Telugu adds to the flavour of the storytelling. It remains to be seen if the show lives up to the promise.

Mirage Media is the presenter of the show and Kartik Parmar is the cinematographer. Jerry Silvester Vincent has composed the music. Qubool Hai has two editors Arvind Menon, Tanya Chhabria while Rohan Singh has handled production design, with Lipsa Jain and Urmez Bhote taking care of the costumes and art direction respectively.
