Qismat 2 is one of the most awaited Punjabi romantic dramas that is all set to come out in theatres on September 23. The upcoming Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta starrer will feature a special appearance of the well-acclaimed lyricist and composer, Jaani.
Jaani was earlier seen in the music video of Harrdy Sandhu, Titliaan Warga that also featured Sargun Mehta. The poet will be making a brief but pivotal appearance in Qismat 2, which was offered to him by the movie’s director Jagdeep Sidhu. The director told Etimes that Jaani would be a perfect fit for the role. He had earlier shared that the handsome lyricist with an awesome personality should be seen in movies. The director believed that once Jaani gets his hands on brief special appearances, he can go on to star in meatier roles.
Jaani has also composed the tunes for the upcoming romantic drama, which is currently being listened to by fans on a loop. The album is also being showered with love and praise. The title track of Qismat 2 and Teri Akheeyan (which was crooned by Ammy Virk) are some of the songs that have garnered a lot of attention from the fans.
On a personal note, Jaani is currently undergoing a social media detox, where he recently deactivated all his social media handles like Instagram and Snapchat. He conveyed this message by urging the fans to watch Qismat 2, ultimately raising the fans’ anticipation to watch the upcoming romantic drama.
