One of the most-anticipated sequels in India currently is undoubtedly Pushpa 2 aka Pushpa: The Rule. Its first part, Pushpa: The Rise, was a sensation across the country and set the box office on fire. Allu Arjun's performance as the notorious sandalwood smuggler impressed movie lovers, and his character Pushpa Raj became one of the celebrated roles in 2021.
The makers had announced recently that the production for the sequel has begun, and that Allu Arjun is expected to join in a few days time. Fahadh Faasil, Dhananjaya and Rashmika Mandanna, who played pivotal roles in the first part, will be seen as significant characters in the second part as well.
The team has now shared a glimpse from the shooting location, leaving fans thrilled. Director Sukumar is seen giving instruction to others in a photo released by the team which also features poster designer Tuney John and leading celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker.
The picture has sent fans of Allu into a tizzy. They stormed the comment section and started asking when they are going to release the picture of their matinee idol from the location. Pushpa 2 will hit the screens in 2023, though the team is yet to reveal the exact date.
There are speculation about Vijay Sethupathi being roped in to essay an important role in the project. The actor was supposed to play a major role in the first installment, but he couldn't be a part of it because of his busy schedules.
The makers had earlier informed that the sequel is going to be bigger in terms of production design and budget. Sukumar has ensured that the second part, too, has more or less same technicians working with him.
