Kannada star Daali Dhananjaya shot to fame in Telugu film with his small-yet-impactful appearance in the pan-Indian hit Pushpa, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. After the Sukumar directorial, the actor has signed a new, interesting Telugu film. It’s official that he will play a key role in actor Satyadev Kancharana’s next, tentatively titled Satyadev 26, directed by Eashvar Karthic.
For the unversed, Satyadev’s 26th film was confirmed yesterday and is touted to be a crime cum action drama. The film is the first production to be made under Old Town Pictures. The project is touted to be a multi-starrer. Interestingly, the film is also the 26th project int he career of Dhananjaya. Eashvar Karthic has also written the story for the film while Yuva has also contributed to the screenplay.
Undoubtedly, there’s going to be a lot of curiosity surrounding Satyadev 26, especially when it stars two capable actors in powerful roles. In the film’s poster, Satyadev was seen with a horse while there are motifs of gun, bullets and currency notes too. While Satyadev’s poster was steeped in a red backdrop, Dhananjay’s announcement poster comes with several shades of grey.
Satyadev 26 is jointly bankrolled by Bala Sundaram and Dinesh Sundaram. While Manikantan Krishnamachary cranks the camera, Charan Raj is the music director. Anil Krish will edit the film and Meeraqh pens the dialogues for same. Subbu is the stunt director. The other details about the film’s cast and crew will be revealed soon, say the makers.
One of Satyadev’s most anticipated releases this year is Godfather, the remake of the Malayalam hit Lucifer. Headlined by Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, the film is directed by Mohan Raja and is expected to release on October 5. His other release is a redemption drama Krishnamma, written and directed by V V Gopala Krishna. The film is presented by Srimanthudu filmmaker Koratala Siva.
