Pushpa Box Office Collection Day 25 Worldwide - Our early morning ritual for the past many days has been waking up and checking the new records that Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule has broken and created. It’s the only thing trending in mainstream discussions for the past 25 days. Released on December 5, the movie has been the talk of the town for a long time, and that buzz and anticipation translated into phenomenal box office collections worldwide. While Pushpa 2 now races with top players like Dangal, it is also busy setting new records along the way. The movie has now become the third Indian film to enter the ₹1,700 crore club worldwide. Below is everything you need to know.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The sequel to the 2021 film surpassed the lifetime collection of its predecessor within days of its release. The movie remains strong at the box office, with no signs of slowing down. Now, with a total worldwide box office haul of ₹1,709.63 crore, it has become only the third Indian film to enter the ₹1,700 crore club.
The prestigious club already includes Dangal and Baahubali 2. Remarkably, Pushpa 2 achieved this milestone in just 25 days. At the domestic box office, the film earned ₹16 crore on Sunday (Day 25), bringing its domestic net collection to ₹1,157.35 crore.
On December 25 (Day 21 of release), Pushpa 2 earned ₹19.75 crore in the Indian market, pushing its overall net haul in the country to a staggering ₹1,109.85 crore. This achievement dethroned Baahubali 2, SS Rajamouli's record-breaking epic, making Pushpa 2 the highest net-earning film in India. However, in terms of gross collections, Baahubali 2 earned ₹1,416 crore domestically, placing Pushpa 2 in the second position.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, and a recurring ensemble cast from the first film. The story takes place sometime after the events of the first installment, introducing a happily married Pushpa who still faces the lingering threat of Shekhawat. The narrative explores Pushpa's lack of a family name and delves into this unresolved aspect of his life. Any further details would risk spoilers.
