Pushpa 2's explosive item song: Star heroine, lavish set, shoot date, and other details revealed

Pushpa 2 is one of the biggest releases this year, set to hit screens on December 5, 2024, with a record number of theaters screening it. However, the unfortunate part is that filming has yet to be completed, with two small schedules remaining. One of these final schedules will be particularly exciting, as it includes shooting a special item song that will come out at a key point in the film.

We’ve learned that this special song will be filmed on November 5, 2024, featuring none other than the happening Telugu heroine Sreeleela. A massive set has been constructed at Ramoji Film City, and the song will be shot with hundreds of junior artists.

Reportedly, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will also make a brief appearance, adding an element of surprise to this special song. Samantha caused a sensation in Pushpa with the song Oo Antava Mava, which became a hit, and audiences are eager to see what DSP, the music director, has created this time for the sequel.

The makers have invested significantly in this song, with a large portion of the budget going towards the stars’ fees. Director Sukumar is known for his captivating item numbers, and there’s high anticipation for how he has crafted this special sequence in Pushpa 2.

A source close to the director has hinted that the second part will be even better and more entertaining than the first. Fahadh Faasil returns as the main antagonist, with Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. She will also be seen in some crazy numbers in this film.
