The Sukumar directorial has grossed Rs 1800 crore globally and now it is nearing Aamir Khan's Dangal box office records. Amid enjoying earth-shattering success, the makers of Pushpa 2 have exciting news for the audience. On January 7, they took to social media and announced that an additional 20 minutes of footage would be attached to the film in theaters. Here's everything you need to know about it.
Pushpa 2: The Rule gets BIGGER!
A while ago, the official Instagram handle of Mythri Movie Makers shared an announcement with the fans. They revealed that 20 minutes of the footage will be added to Pushpa 2. The audience will be able to watch the Reloaded version from January 11 in theatres. This has come as a treat for all the Allu Arjun fans. Sharing the mind-boggling announcement on Instagram, the makers wrote, "#Pushpa2TheRule RELOADED VERSION with 20 minutes of added footage will play in cinemas from 11th January. The WILDFIRE gets extra FIERY. #Pushpa2Reloaded." Along with it, they shared a poster of Allu Arjun with Pushpa 2: The Rule Reloaded Version written on it. Have a look:
Fans go gaga over Pushpa 2's announcement
Soon after the makers shared the news, fans were seen expressing excitement about it. A fan commented, "2000cr Loading." Another fan wrote, "Bye bye dangal 2000cr." One of the comments also read, "Again cinemas houseful on the 11 January." Others were seen dropping fire emojis in the comments section.
It is to be noted that Pushpa 2 is already 3 hours and 15 minutes long. But with the kind of response the movie has received so far, the makers are quite confident that the extra 20 minutes will work wonders, further setting the box office on fire.
Pushpa 2 was released in theatres on December 5, 2024. Since then, it has been enjoying an unstoppable run at the box office. The film also features Fahadh Faasil.
