Pushpa 2: The Allu Arjun starrer creates a unique record in West Bengal

Pushpa 2 is now the biggest hits in Indian cinema and continues to perform well at the box office. The action drama's Bengali version has shattered records across the board, and the latest update reveals that it ha s collected over ₹50 crore in Bengal alone. This sets a new benchmark, as no Bengali or Hindi film has achieved such numbers in the state to date. This highlights the immense popularity of Allu Arjun’s film since its release.

Pushpa 2 latest collections details

Pushpa 2 revolves around a sandalwood smuggler, portrayed by Allu Arjun in a way that deeply resonated with audiences. In just a few days, Pushpa 2 is poised to become India’s highest-grossing film, creating new records along the way. Directed by Sukumar, the film was made on a massive budget of ₹600 crore. Reports suggest that Allu Arjun himself earned ₹150 crore for his role. Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead, earning praise for her performance.

The film is also a massive success in states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab. In the Telugu states, Pushpa 2 initially faced challenges in entering the profit zone but eventually turned profitable. As of now, the film has grossed over ₹320 crore.

Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) composed the music, and Fahadh Faasil played the primary antagonist. Pushpa 2 also performed remarkably well in the US, grossing over $14 million. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and serves as a sequel to the hit film Pushpa.

Allu Arjun’s National Award win for Best Actor last year contributed significantly to the film’s success and widespread appeal. The character of Pushparaj became iconic, with youth celebrating his dialogues, songs, and dance performances.
