Pushpa 2 has become a smash hit at the box office, but Allu Arjun hasn’t been able to enjoy its success due to his arrest in the Sandhya Theater stampede case. Although he was later released on bail, a series of controversial events have kept him under scrutiny and confined to his home.
Tragically, a woman lost her life during the screening of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theater, and her son, Sri Tej, has been in a brain-dead state since the incident. Fortunately, Sri Tej is now showing signs of improvement. Today, January 7, 2025, Allu Arjun visited the KIMS Hospital to meet the child. A source close to the actor confirmed this development.
This marks the first time Allu Arjun has visited Sri Tej since his hospitalization. His initial absence following the incident led to a significant backlash, with even CM Revanth Reddy criticizing him for being irresponsible. However, Allu Arjun has now taken steps to address the situation.
Along with the makers of Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun has donated ₹2 crore to Sri Tej’s family and pledged to secure permanent employment for him in the film industry. This gave the issue a bit of respite in the media and trolls over Allu Arjun.
On the legal front, Allu Arjun has been restricted from travelling abroad and is required to report to the Chikkadapally police station weekly to sign documents. This ongoing legal battle has posed a considerable challenge for the actor over the past month. However, with news of his hospital visit emerging, the controversy appears to be nearing a resolution.
The issue of fan safety at large events has become a pressing concern for the film industry. Recently, two fans of Ram Charan lost their lives in a bike accident while returning from the Game Changer event in Rajahmundry. In response, Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan donated ₹10 lakh to the victims’ families.
Amid growing safety concerns, there is speculation that such large-scale events may be scaled down in the future. This topic has become a hot topic of discussion all over in media and film circles.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is set to collaborate with Trivikram Srinivas for his next project, a pan-Indian film currently in pre-production. The film will be produced by Chinna Babu under the Harika & Hassine Creations banner. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project.
