Pushpa 2 Kerala box office Day 2 collection: Allu Arjun and director Sukumar’s mass action film has opened to mixed reviews. While the film highly impressed the Telugu superstar’s diehard fans and mass cinema lovers, it failed to appeal to neutral audiences. Despite this, Pushpa 2: The Rule has been performing exceptionally well at the worldwide box office. However, Allu Arjun’s film has now witnessed a dip at the Kerala box office on the second day of release.
As per the latest updates, Pushpa 2: The Rule has witnessed a major dip at the Kerala box office on the second day of its release. The trade experts suggest that Allu Arjun’s film has collected Rs 2.25 crore on its Day 2 at the theatres. It is indeed a major dip for the film, which made a fantastic opening at the Kerala box office, by collecting Rs 6.35 crore at the state, on its release day.
For the uninitiated, the Sukumar directorial also emerged as the highest-grossing film at the Kerala box office in 2024. Pushpa 2: The Rule also broke the Day 1 collection record set by Baahubali 2, the Prabhas starrer directed by SS Rajamouli, thus emerging as the biggest Telugu cinema opener in the state. So, the major dip of Allu Arjun’s film at the Kerala box office on Day 2 has shocked both trade experts and film enthusiasts.

If things proceed at the same rate, Pushpa 2: The Rule might not cross the Rs 30-crore mark at the Kerala box office, by the time it completes the first weekend at the box office. For the uninitiated, the Allu Arjun-starrer needs to collect over Rs 60 crore from the Kerala box office to achieve the breakeven. The distributors are hoping that the Sukumar directorial will pick up at the box office with its Saturday and Sunday collections.
