Pushpa 2 Hindi box office collection day 3: While we all were prepared for the tsunami called Pushpa 2: The Rule that was riding on a very wild buzz, no one could have imagined the kind of numbers the Allu Arjun-led movie has managed to pull off not just in the country but worldwide. The movie, which hit screens on Thursday, with some paid previews on Wednesday, has now completed three days at the global box office and broken records that are difficult to keep track of already. While it is the fastest ₹500 crore gross-earning Indian movie worldwide, the film is a wildfire in the Hindi circuit too, where it has crossed ₹200 crore on the third day of release itself.

Pushpa 2 has climbed to a monstrous collection even in Hindi, earning ₹70.3 crore on Day 1, which was a working Thursday. The movie created history by individually collecting over ₹50 crore in two languages simultaneously. The second day saw a dip in the Hindi market, where the film earned ₹56.9 crore on Friday as the dip was witnessed across the country. But on Day 3, the movie has regained its momentum and earned better than Day 1 in Hindi. Pushpa 2 on the third day of its release brought in ₹73.5 crore, which also happens to be its first Saturday.
The overall collection of the Allu Arjun-led movie now stands at ₹200.7 crore. This means the movie has crossed yet another milestone. It is given that Pushpa 2 will perform exponentially today, considering this is the first Sunday after the release of the movie, and the excitement amongst the audience is unparalleled. The movie also features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles, along with Rao Ramesh, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj.

In India, the movie opened to ₹10.65 crore net from its premiere shows in India on December 4. Pushpa 2 earned ₹164.5 crore net on its opening day and ₹93.8 crore net on its first Friday. Even though there was a considerable drop of 42.89% on Friday, it was still only a few steps away from a ₹100 crore collection. That gap was filled on Saturday as Pushpa 2 bounced back, earning ₹115.58 crore net in India. This means the total box office collection of the movie in India now stands at a whopping ₹379.28 crore.
Pushpa 2 has collected ₹500 crore gross worldwide at the end of Day 3, and that puts it at the top of the fastest films to earn that whopping sum in just three days of its release. The movie has gained dramatic momentum that is not just wild but also very swift. What is to be observed here is that this is just the first weekend. Even with the privilege of an extended weekend, as the film opened on a Thursday, it was actually a working day.
