Pushpa 2: The Rule has proven to be a game changer for many reasons, achieving remarkable success within its first week, with one day still remaining to complete it. Tuesday (Day 6) was a challenging day for the movie, but it managed to sustain its momentum from Monday. Without the benefit of a public holiday apart from the weekend, the film is delivering impressive numbers, showcasing extraordinary performance despite the odds.
The worldwide collection of the movie is estimated to cross the ₹1,000 crore mark by the time it enters its second weekend. The domestic performance in India is equally commendable, especially in Hindi, where collections on Tuesday surpassed those of the Telugu version. The Allu Arjun starrer is demonstrating an unprecedented streak, further solidifying its success through strong word-of-mouth promotion.
Pushpa 2 Hindi Box Office Update
On Tuesday, Pushpa 2 experienced a slight dip in box office collections, as expected with the workweek in full swing. However, the decline was not significant, and the film still managed to cross the ₹50 crore mark in India. According to Sacnilk, the movie earned ₹52.50 crore nett on Tuesday, December 10. This is a robust number, reflecting its potential to gain further momentum and display an upward trend during its second week.
What’s particularly remarkable is the film’s Hindi-language performance. A significant portion of the ₹52.50 crore comes from the Hindi market. On Tuesday alone, the Hindi version earned ₹38 crore nett. Yes, you read that right. The Telugu version, meanwhile, brought in ₹11 crore nett, and the Tamil version collected ₹2.60 crore nett.
This means the Hindi version has nearly doubled the earnings of the Telugu version. The Hindi total now stands at ₹370.1 crore nett, while the Telugu version has earned ₹222.6 crore nett in India. Altogether, Pushpa 2 has reached ₹645.95 crore nett at the domestic box office.
