Pushpa 2 box office collection day 24: Directed by Sukumar, it stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, and sets up a sequel

Pushpa 2, the recently released Allu Arjun-starrer action drama, has begun to slow down but successfully has run for 24 days in theatres, including the premiere shows. Pushpa 2/ Pushpa: The Rule, has collected Rs 1141.35 crore so far in all languages in India, as of Saturday (December 28).
Allu Arjun, who was seen in massy action avatar in Pushpa 2, may have gone through legal proceedings in relation to the stampede case, but the film has been doing well so far in theatres. The film which has crossed its third week of run in theatres, has collected Rs 1141.35 crore within 24 days in India in all languages. The film has already collected over Rs 1700 crore in its worldwide collection.
Pushpa 2 is facing its initial dips, but that is alright, given the film performed extremely well in the first few weeks. In fact, even as Allu Arjun was facing police proceedings and was even arrested in relation to a woman’s death due to stampede, Pushpa 2 had been running successfully. It was released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages, across the world.
The post-theatrical streaming rights of the film have been bagged by Netflix. However, an OTT release date for the film has not yet been announced. Mythri Movie Makers which backed the film announced that Pushpa 2 will not make OTT debut before 56 days since the release.
Pushpa 2 is helmed by director Sukumar, and also stars Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil. The second part ends on a cliffhanger note, leading to the third part titled Pushpa: The Rampage. A day before its release on December 5, the makers had conducted premiere shows which caused a stampede in Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre, causing a death of woman. Allu Arjun who had visited the theatre was arrested and enquired in relation with the case.
