The film, which was released on December 5 with early previews on December 4, opened with monstrous earnings, saw a brief dip at the end of its second week but quickly regained momentum. On its 21st day at the Indian box office, the Hindi version alone contributed ₹15 crore. Starring Allu Arjun, the movie has now overtaken Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in net collections within India to become the highest net earner in the country.
For those unfamiliar, Pushpa 2, featuring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, is the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster directed by Sukumar. The sequel not only surpassed the lifetime earnings of its predecessor within a week but also reached ₹1,000 crore globally in just 10 days, making it one of the top-earning Indian films worldwide. In India, it has now surpassed Baahubali 2 in net collections, a remarkable feat.

The Hindi version continues to dominate, cementing Pushpa 2 as a landmark in the Pan-India film movement.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, and returning cast members from the first film.
