Pushpa 2 box office collection day 10: There has been immense chatter around Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, enticing even those who weren’t fans of the first film to give it a try. The buzz—both good and bad—has worked in favor of the movie, which now boasts a worldwide collection exceeding a thousand crores, a feat achieved by only a select few films. As Pushpa 2 enjoys a strong second weekend, the day 10 collections confirm that the movie has surpassed SS Rajamouli’s RRR in its lifetime Indian box office earnings by a significant margin.

Pushpa 2 Beats RRR’s Lifetime Collection

RRR, starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, and a massive ensemble, was the biggest film of 2022 and one of the decade's landmark releases. The film won an Oscar for Best Song (Naatu Naatu), shattered records, and reached historic heights at the global box office during its theatrical run. As per reports, RRR achieved a lifetime Indian box office collection of Rs 782.2 crore—a staggering figure for most films. However, Pushpa 2 has now overtaken this monumental achievement.

As per Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 earned approximately Rs 62.3 crore on day 10 in India. The Hindi version contributed Rs 46 crore of this total, surpassing all other languages. The Telugu version earned Rs 13 crore, follow ed by Rs 2.5 crore in Tamil, Rs 0.45 crore in Kannada, and Rs 0.35 crore in Malayalam. These numbers bring the total Indian collection to Rs 824.5 crore, confirming that Allu Arjun’s starrer has left RRR far behind.

Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and others, is a direct sequel to the 2021 blockbuster and has captivated audiences with its hype and buzz. Within just seven days of release, it became the highest-grossing film of 2024 and one of the year’s most anticipated movies.

Directed by Sukumar, the film picks up after the events of the first installment. Pushpa is now happily married, but Shekhawat remains a looming threat. The story delves into Pushpa’s lack of a family name and seeks to address this issue. Sharing anything beyond this would risk spoiling the plot.
