Pushpa 2, also known as Pushpa: The Rule hit theatres on Thursday, December 5 to a humungous reception with the film getting appreciation from all corners. The Allu Arjun-starrer was released in major Indian languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. With the Pushpa film franchise having a huge craze in Tamil Nadu, it is predicted that the film will earn about Rs 7-8 crore on day one release in the state.

There is a special connection between Allu Arjun and Tamil Nadu. The actor, even as he predominantly works in the Telugu film industry, was brought up in Chennai, and spent his formative years in the city. It has been given that Allu Arjun has a fanbase and market in Tamil Nadu. Now with Pushpa: The Rule getting a grand release in Tamil Nadu, as per reports, it is predicted that the film will collect in the range of Rs 7-8 crore on its first day in Tamil Nadu alone.
The makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers, have released the dubbed version of the film in Tamil Nadu. AGS Entertainment has distributed the film in the state. It is to be noted that while the Telugu-speaking states had premiere shows a day before the release, Tamil Nadu started having shows from 9 am on Thursday. With no major releases this week, and next, Pushpa: The Rule is expected to get picked up by the crowd in the coming days.
Pushpa 2: Allu Arjun scores once again
It is to be noted that Pushpa 2 already made Rs 100 crore with its advance bookings. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by Sukumar, it is the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise. It also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, with Sreeleela performing a special number.
Scores of fans have been giving positive responses for the film, and praising Allu Arjun’s performance. The third part is in the making, titled Pushpa: The Rampage.
