Pushpa 2: Allu Arjun thanks co-stars Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sreeleela; reveals how their performances helped him

Pushpa 2: The Rule, the long-awaited Allu Arjun starrer directed by Sukumar is gearing up for its grand theatrical release on December 5, 2024. The movie, which marks the fourth collaboration of the actor-director duo, features popular actor Fahadh Faasil as the lead antagonist. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in Pushpa 2, which features Sreeleela in a special appearance. At a recent event, leading man Allu Arjun praised his co-stars and thanked them for their contributions to the project.

Allu Arjun praises Fahadh Faasil’s performance in Pushpa 2

The Telugu superstar, who addressed the audience at the Pushpa 2 promotional event in Mumbai, was all praises for the lead antagonist, Fahadh Faasil. Allu Arjun thanked the actor for taking up the villain role in the film, despite being a major leading actor. The leading man remarked that the Aavesham actor said Yes to the project, purely because of his love for director Sukumar and the subject.

Allu Arjun stated that he could do his best in the film only because of the immense support from his co-stars. The leading man, who further revealed that they fondly call Fahadh Faasil as ‘FaFa’ on the sets, remarked that the audiences will witness how phenomenal he is, as a performer, with his portrayal of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in Pushpa 2: The Rule. The actor’s revelations have left the Malayalam audiences, supremely excited.

The Telugu superstar stated that Rashmika Mandanna is the most comfortable co-star he has worked with. Allu Arjun, who thanked the leading lady for supporting the project right from the beginning as Pushpa’s Srivalli, stated that she is the girl who brings immense positive energy to the sets. The actor further added that Pushpa wouldn’t have been possible without Rashmika’s support. He stated that both him and director Sukumar admirer the actress a lot, and remarked that the world needs more girls like her.

The actor, who opened up about working with Sreeleela in ‘Kissik’ song sequence, thanked for all the respect she gave him. Allu Arjun added that he was able to deliver an energetic performance in the song sequences, especially because of his co-star's immense support.
