Director Puri Jagan is one of those legendary filmmakers who introduced several big stars to Telugu cinema. Now, the crazy update is that versatile actress, Tabu has been roped in to play the female lead in the biggie. Puri Jagan, in many of his interviews, had said that he always wanted to work with Tabu but that did not happen. Now that he has penned a crazy role for her, Puri met Tabu and narrated the story.

One of the sources close to the director has revealed to us that Tabu loved the script and okayed the film right away and she was also quite kicked to work opposite an actor like Vijay Sethupathi. The said project will be produced by Puri's close aide Charmee Kaur on their Puri Connects banner on a very tight budget. Most of the shoots will happen in Chennai and as Puri is known to wrap up his films on a quick note, the makers are also planning to release the movie by the end of this year.
