Get ready for a brand-new puppy romance, this time showing parallel love stories between dogs and their human partners. Puppy Love, which premiered on Amazon Freevee in August 2023, is coming to Lionsgate this month. The film starring Lucy Hale, Grant Gustin, and two adorable canines in the main roles was produced by Buzzfeed Studios.

Puppy Love will be released on Lionsgate this Friday, February 9, 2024. It will now be finally available for viewers in India. Directed by Richard Alan Reid and Nick Fabiano, Puppy Love dropped its trailer on July 7, 2023, and it certainly looks promising. The film has a fun rom-com foundation, while featuring a sweet romance between their furry buddies.
The plot of Puppy Love
The film follows an obsessive-compulsive, socially awkward individual Max and his newly adopted Cavelier King Charles Spaniel, Chloe, as their lives cross path with messy, commitment-phobe Nicole and her ordinary street dog, named Channing Tatum. Though Nicole and Max find each other via a dating app and decide to swipe right because both are dog owners, their first date is anything but promising.
After an awkward and disastrous first date that ended abruptly when the human duo found Chloe and Channing Tatum fornicating by a tree in the park. Enraged, the two decide to lose the other’s number and never see one another again. But fate has something else in store for them as Nicole and Max are forced to meet up when Chloe becomes pregnant.
Now the two must juggle professional and environmental pressures, alongside arranging playdates for their furry children, as friends of course, till something more starts brewing between the two and they realize they balance each other well. But their polar opposite traits clash as well, leaving their future together uncertain, at least till February 9 for us.
