PT Sir OTT release date – Here’s when and where to watch Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi’s film online

PT Sir, the comedy drama film, features music composer-turned-actor Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi in the lead role. The movie, which is written and directed by Karthik Venugopalan, had its theatrical release in May 2024. As per the recent updates, PT Sir is all set to have its OTT release in June 2024, after completing its theatrical run. The Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi-starrer is gearing up to have its OTT release on the popular streaming platform, Amazon Prime Video.

PT Sir OTT release date is revealed

As per the recent updates from Amazon Prime Video, it has been confirmed that the Karthik Venugopalan directorial is slated to have its OTT release on June 21, 2024. Even though the OTT giant has not revealed any other details of the film’s OTT premiere, it is safe to assume that PT Sir, which had an underwhelming run at the theatres will be streamed only in Tamil. The Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi-starrer is expected to be released on Amazon Prime Video on June 21, Friday at midnight. More updates are expected to be released very soon.

PT Sir – Everything you need to know

For the uninitiated, PT Sir marks the second outing of filmmaker Karthik Venugopalan, who made his directorial debut in 2019 with the comedy film, Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja. The movie, which also marked Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi’s seventh outing as a leading man, features the actor-musician in the role of Kanagavel, a Physical Education teacher who works at a school in Erode, Tamil Nadu. Kanagvel falls in love with his colleague Vaanathi. Meanwhile, an incident involving a girl named Nandini brings a major shift in the protagonist’s life.

Kashmira Pardeshi plays the role of Kanagavel’s love interest Vaanathi in the film, which features Anikha Surendran in the role of Nandini. Prabhu, K Bhagyaraj, Pandiarajan, Munishkanth, Thiagarajan, Ilavarasu, Devadarshini, Pattimandram Raja, Vinodhini, and others play the supporting roles. Hiphop Tamizha composed the music for the film. Madhesh Manickam and Prasanna GK handle the cinematography and editing, respectively. PT Sir is produced by Isari K Ganesh, under the banner Vels Films International.
