PT Sir 2024: Release date, plot, trailer, cast, crew, censor and more

Composer-turned-actor Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi, who recently scored for Aranmanai 4, is set to headline the upcoming Tamil film titled PT Sir. The film is touted to be a light-hearted entertainer, with Aadhi playing the role of a physical education trainer. Read further to know more about the film.

Release date

PT Sir is scheduled to release in theatres on May 24. The film will be accompanied by small releases such as Saamaniyan, and Pagalariyaan. Aadhi was last seen in the 2023 superhero film Veeran and PT Sir will mark his first Tamil release in 2024 as an actor.

Plot

In the film, Hiphop Tamizha will be playing the role of a physical education teacher, who wants to introduce new activities to schoolchildren. The film will show the struggles and conflicts he faced in doing so.

Trailer

The trailer of PT Sir was released recently by the makers. It begins with the voiceover of the PT sir saying that he cannot let go of his class period for anyone else and how students are very eager for the period. The trailer is sprinkled with song and dance sequences, and comic scenes. Meanwhile, the second half of the trailer shows the PT master being fired and an unknown conflict affecting the protagonist. We are also shown some stunt sequences.

Cast and crew

Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi headlines PT Sir. Apart from him, the film also stars actors Kashmira Pardeshi, Thiagarajan, Anikha Surendran, Devadarshini and others. The film is written and directed by Karthik Venugopalan, and produced by Dr. Ishari K Ganesh under Vels Film International. Besides acting, Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi has also scored the music for the film. It was shot by Madhesh Manickam and edited by Prasanna GK.

Censor and runtime

PT Sir has received a clean U certificate from the censor board, making it suitable for all age groups to watch the film. It has a runtime of two hours and 10 minutes.
