Project K launch at Comic-Con: Prabhas says he is bored of shooting against blue mats, deets inside

Prabhas is one of the biggest stars in the country and has a massive fan following. He is doing back-to-back films but a big hit has been evading him since the time of Baahubali. So, he has pinned all his hopes on Project K, the film which is being directed by Nag Ashwin, the director who lst made the award-winning film Mahanati.

The title and first look of the film were launched at Comic-Con in San Diego, USA, and got a thumping response from the audience. Project K has been titled Kalki 2898. Well, speaking to the press, Prabhas revealed that he loved working on the film and Nag Ashwin has transformed him into something else in Kalki 2989 and he is eager to see what kind of response the audience will give to this fantasy drama. 

But the statement which caught the attention of many was Prabhas talking about working against a blue mat. When one of the reporters asked Prabhas how it felt working with such advanced technology, Prabhas says "To be frank, I am sick and tired of blue mats, and shooting with them has become boring." The star hero further adds that all his last four films have been shot against the blue mat but that is how cinema is going to function in the days to come.

Kalki 2989 has Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The film is being produced by Aswini Dutt, the legendary producer of Telugu cinema. He has put over 400 crores into this film which is a fantasy drama. 

Apart from Kalki 2989, Prabhas's yet another biggie, Salaara will be released on August 28, 2023. The action drama is produced by Hombale Films and has Shruthi Haasan as the female lead. Prashanth Neel has directed the film. For now, Project K has caught the attention of one and all.
