Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been unable to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar. Her mother has now assured that the actress will make up for her absence.

The much-talked-about Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations kicked off on Friday, March 1, in Jamnagar. However, Priyanka Chopra and her American singer-songwriter husband, Nick Jonas, have been conspicuous with their absence, considering that the who’s who from across the world are a part of the guest list. Priyanka’s mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra, was among the attendees and spoke to the media on her way out of the Jamnagar airport about her daughter's absence. Here’s what she said.

When asked if she missed Priyanka throughout the festivities, Madhu said that she did, but added that Priyanka would make up for it. Talking to Instant Bollywood, Madhu said, “She will make up for it; don’t worry.” She added that this occasion was the ideal excuse for her to visit Jamnagar, where she had been yearning to go for years. “I have been wanting to come to Jamnagar. In fact, I spoke to Anant (about it) many years ago,” she said.
Even though Priyanka was missing in action at the Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash, she has attended a couple of other important Ambani family events, such as the inauguration of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) along with her husband Nick Jonas in March 2023.
