Priyanka Chopra Jonas begins shooting for Citadel Season 2; Shares glimpse

With Cital, Priyanka Chopra Jonas made everyone talk about her acting prowess. The global star was seen alongside Richard Madden in the show, which was a hit among the viewers. After the successful first season, the shooting for the second season has already begun and now Priyanka shared an update about her shooting schedule on her social media account. 

Priyanka Chopra Jonas kickstarts shooting for Citadel Season 2

Today, on September 16, PeeCee took to her Instagram story and shared a video as she is on the way to the sets of Citadel Season 2. In the video, Priyanka is seen driving to the spot and wrote, ‘Hello Citadel S2. 5:39 AM.’ Take a look at her post below: 

For the uninitiated, Citadel is a thrilling show created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh and David Weil with the Russo brothers acting as executive producers. The first season of the show featured Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden as Citadel agents Nadia Sinh and Masaon Kane respectively. Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville also played important parts. The show was released on April 28, 2023.

The second season of Citadel will feature new cast members including Rahul Kohli, Merle Dandridge, Michael Trucco, Jack Reynor, Matt Berry, and Gabriel Leone with Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra, Stanley Tucci, and Lesley Manville reprising their roles. The show is directed by Joe Rusoo and David Weil will work as the showrunner. The show is produced by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Scott Nemes for AGBO. This six-episode espionage drama is set to stream on Prime Video soon.

Speaking about Citadel season 2, Angela Russo-Otstot said in a statement, “The second season will build on the intense action and complex characters introduced in the first season, promising even more thrilling twists and intrigue.”
