Though, it's been five years since she did a Hindi project. In 2019, she was featured in The Sky is Pink with Farhan Akhtar, Rohit Saraf, and Zaira Wasim. Her fans and the audience are craving for her to do a Hindi masala film. Everyone was quite excited after Farhan Akhtar announced Jee Le Zaraa featuring Priyanka, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt. Priyanka Chopra set to do a Hindi movie
While speaking to Hindustan Times, Priyanka revealed that she has been meeting a lot of filmmakers and reading scripts. Without giving away many details, she hinted at having a project in hand. She said, "Not joking, I meet many filmmakers here, read scripts. I have actively been looking for something I want to do in Hindi. This year was really busy for me. But I have something up my sleeve, I will leave it at that."
Is Jee Le Zaraa finally happening?
Jee Le Zaraa is one of the most anticipated films. Ever since it was announced in 2021, netizens were excited to watch three leading ladies coming together for a movie based on a road trip. Now, while speaking to the portal, the Citadel actress spoke about the film. On being asked if that “something” is a hint that Jee Le Zaraa is still on the cards? She replied, "You will need to speak to Excel (Entertainment, Farhan Akhtar’s production house) about that."
Earlier, Zoya Akhtar revealed why there was a delay in shooting for Jee Le Zaraa. She had said, "I think aligning the three of them, their dates, and Farhan, his dates is the reason for the delay."
Meanwhile, Priyanka recently wrapped up the shooting of Citadel Season 2. She shared the pictures from the set celebrating the wrap. Apart from this, she has Heads of State alongside John Cena and Idris Elba and The Bluff in the pipeline.
