Prithviraj: Trailer of Akshay Kumar's historic drama to be out on THIS date

Akshay Kumar's historic drama, Prithviraj has been one of the most awaited films of the year. After unveiling the character posters of the cast in the film, the makers are now going to release the drama's trailer. The release date of the trailer is out. 

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the release date of the trailer of the much-anticipated movie. Sharing the poster of Akshay Kumar's character as Prithviraj Chauhan, the expert wrote: "AKSHAY KUMAR: 'PRITHVIRAJ' TRAILER ON MONDAY... #YRF will launch #PrithvirajTrailer - starring #AkshayKumar - on [Monday] 9 May 2022... Directed by Dr #ChandraprakashDwivedi... 3 June 2022 release in #Hindi, #Tamil and #Telugu. #Prithviraj #IMAX."

The trailer is expected to be out on May 9. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film also stars Manushi Chhillar, Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood. The film marks the acting debut of the Miss World 2017 winner, Manushi Chhillar. 

The character posters for the movie, which was released earlier in February, had created much excitement and buzz among the fans and now, they can't wait to get a glimpse of the drama in its trailer. 

The film is produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The drama began filming in 2019 and was found landed in soup due to the controversy around its title. A group in Chandigarh claimed that the film was disrespecting the late emperor by not including his full name or the words ‘king’.

It was also planned for a release on January 21 this year but got postponed due to the surge in the cases of COVID-19. The film now will be released in theatres on June 3, 2022, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
