Prithviraj Sukumaran is a busy actor and director, who has multiple projects in hand. He is preparing to being shooting for Empuraan , his third film as a director, which is the sequel to the hit film, Lucifer. He is also yet to complete filming for two other movies: Vilayath Buddha and Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil. In addition, he has reportedly signed a film with director Khalid Rahman.

Although rumours about this collaboration have been circulating for a while, recent reports confirm that Prithviraj has listened to the story and pre-production work will begin soon. If everything goes as planned, this film will be Khalid Rahman's next project. However, it is unlikely that filming will begin this year, since Prithviraj will be busy with Empuraan, which was delayed after an accident he encountered on the set of Vilayath Buddha.
