Prithviraj Sukumaran, the multi-faceted talent has been handling both his acting and filmmaking career successfully. Along with being one of the busiest stars in the industry, the actor-director also directed two successful films - Lucifer and Bro Daddy. As you may know, Prithviraj is now busy with the shooting of his third directorial venture L2 Empuraan, which also marks his onscreen reunion with Mohanlal. In a recent interview with The Cue Studio, the Aadujeevitham actor revealed his biggest learning from the superstar.
Prithviraj about his biggest learning from Mohanlal
According to the actor-filmmaker, he learned how actors should completely submit themselves to a director while working with Mohanlal, who is unarguably one of the finest actors in Indian cinema. According to Prithviraj Sukumaran, working with the veteran superstar changed his perspective on the actor’s role in the process of filmmaking, completely. Despite being a senior actor who has completed over four decades in the industry, Mohanlal submits himself to his directors.

Interestingly, Prithviraj Sukumaran revealed that he now treats his filmmakers, the way Mohanlal treated him during the making of their films. The actor-filmmaker further added that all senior actors including megastar Mammootty work the same way. He is sure that the Bramayugam actor is going to treat him exactly how Mohanlal did, as all of them are true legends who have done so many films over the years. Prithviraj feels that all actors should follow this and completely submit to a director’s vision.

Mohanlal and Prithviraj’s L2 Empuraan
For the uninitiated, Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran are currently working together on the sequel of their 2019-released blockbuster movie, L2 Empuraan. The superstar is reprising his much-loved character Stephen Nedumpally aka Khureshi Ab’Ram in the film, while Prithviraj will return to play the role of his most trusted general, Zayed Masood. The official first look poster of Mohanlal from the movie is expected to be revealed on May 21, 2024, on the special occasion of the legend’s 64th birthday.
