Aadujeevitham, the epic survival drama which has been under production since 2018, is finally set to hit the big screens on March 28, 2024. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the central character in the film, which is helmed by the renowned filmmaker Blessy. The leading man, who is now busy promoting his ambitious project, recently opened up about the Aadujeevitham director’s journey with the film in his interview with Red FM Malayalam. Interestingly, Prithviraj stated that Blessy is a ‘timeless’ director.

In his recent chat with Red FM Malayalam YouTube channel Prithviraj Sukumaran extensively spoke about being a part of Aadujeevitham, and his collaboration with director Blessy. The multi-faceted talent, who is evidently in awe of Blessy, stated he wouldn’t be able to reach the level of the senior filmmaker’s dedication and commitment, ever. Interestingly, Prithviraj also revealed that Blessy began his journey with The Goat Life at a time when Malayalam cinema was not even in a digital format, completely.
According to the Aadujeevitham actor, the senior filmmaker was completely immersed in his journey of making this film and lost touch with the changing trends in cinema. He still makes his film in the good old way, instead of shooting lots of footage and making the film on an editing table. Prithviraj Sukumaran revealed that the new-age Malayalam cinema’s marketing strategies and distribution are totally new to the director, who took a long break from his career for the survival drama.

However, Blessy’s cinematic sensibility is still simply unmatched. And that is why Prithviraj Sukumaran firmly believes that the Thanmathra creator is indeed a ‘timeless’ director. Interestingly, The Goat Life actor further added that Blessy is going to reinvent himself again and again and will stay relevant in the film industry even after the next 20 years. Well, with the visuals of Aadujeevitham which have been released so far, it is quite evident that the magical touch of the supremely talented filmmaker remains intact.
