As Prithviraj is inching closer to its release, the makers have dropped the teaser for a song that seeks to capture the lion-like courage of the late king. Titled Yoddha, the song pays tribute to the bravery of Prithviraj Chauhan and was unveiled by Akshay Kumar on his official social media handles.
The teaser offers several glimpses into the visual grandeur viewers can expect from the film. The titular king is depicted in all his glory in some intense and grandly mounted battle scenes. Manushi Chhillar as Sanyogita dazzles in a striking dance sequence. In the caption of the post, Kumar talked of the strength and courage of the late king.

Yoddha is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and has lyrics penned by Varun Grover. The film’s soundtrack is composed by musical trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, consisting of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa. Kumar had also unveiled a teaser for the song Hadd Kar De from the film’s soundtrack.
Kumar stars as the titular king Prithviraj Chauhan, while Chhillar essays the role of his consort Sanyogita.The upcoming period drama also stars Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt, who essay the roles of Chand Varai and Kaka Kanha, respectively. Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar also feature in pivotal roles in the film, which is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film, which is based on the Braj Bhasha epic poem Prithviraj Raso, is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi.
Prithviraj will be released in theatres on June 3, 2022 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
