John Abraham replaces Prithviraj Sukumaran in SS Rajamouli directorial?

John Abraham has been roped in for Priyanka Chopra and Mahesh Babu's SSMB29, a report on News24 suggests. The actor has replaced Prithviraj Sukumaran, who was the original choice but things did not materialize. "John will be seen sharing the screen with Priyanka Chopra. He has quite a few scenes with her and the shoot will happen in Hyderabad itself," a source was quoted saying.

Mahesh Babu-Priyanka Chopra started shooting for SSMB29?

SS Rajamouli had hinted that Mahesh Babu has commenced shooting for the movie. Coincidentally, Priyanka was also in Hyderabad around the same time. Even though they have tried to keep things under wraps, there's a strong buzz that Priyanka and Mahesh Babu have started shooting for their roles, and John is likely to join them soon.

John Abraham's upcoming film, The Diplomat

John is also looking forward to the release of his movie, The Diplomat. The movie follows the journey of an Indian diplomat who is on a mission to rescue an Indian girl trapped in Pakistan, where she was forced into a marriage. Also starring Kumud Mishra, Sharib Hashmi, and Ashwath Bhatt among others, the film is scheduled to release on March 7 in theatres.

Priyanka Chopra’s last Bollywood film and upcoming ones

Priyanka’s last Bollywood film was The White Tiger opposite Rajkummar Rao. The movie was a Netflix release in 2021. Among her other projects, Priyanka’s most-awaited Bollywood release is with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. Titled Jee Le Zaraa, the film will be directed by Farhan Akhtar but is currently under production and might take some more time to go on floors. As for PeeCee’s upcoming project, she will next be seen in Citadel season 2.
