Amazon Prime Video is back with another original Hindi series, and this time around, it features Priyanshu Painyuli, known for Mirzapur 3, in the lead. Titled "Shehar Lakhot," the movie unfolds in a lawless town where only the most clever will survive, and those who do not abide by the madness will either be kicked out or left to die. The series appears to be a turbulent ride, as the studio released the trailer of the show today. The 2-minute 30-second trailer serves as a violent gateway to the vibe of this new world.
"Shehar Lakhot" is written and created by Navdeep Singh and Devika Bhagat and directed by Singh. The fictional town is known for marble mining, and the story unfolds as a prodigal is compelled to return to his village due to circumstances. Upon his return, he becomes entangled in a web of tragic events, putting his life at risk. The show, set for a November 30 release, promises drama at another level.
It stars Priyanshu Painyuli, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Kubbra Sait, supported by a highly talented ensemble cast, including Manu Rishi Chadha, Shruthy Menon, Kashyap Shangari, Chandan Roy, Manjiri Pupala, Shruti Jolly, Gyan Prakash, and Abhilash Thapliyal.

Known for acclaimed movies like NH10 and Manorama Six Feet Under, Shehar Lakhot director Navdeep Singh while talking about his new Prime Video series said, “Shehar Lakhot is a multilayered and nuanced noir crime drama that will take viewers through a labyrinth of human complexities, secrets, twists and betrayal.”
