Premalu Telugu final box office collection - Premalu was a sensational hit in Malayalam and started with a bang in Hyderabad. Seeing the buzz for the Malayalam version, SS Rajamouli's son, SS Karthikeya, bought the dubbing rights to the film and released the romantic drama on March 8, 2024.

The film, starring Naslen and Mamitha Baiju, had a low opening, but as word of mouth grew, Premlu's occupancy picked up, and there was no looking back for the film. Well, Premlu is almost done with its run in Telugu states and has made close to Rs 17 crore share in Telugu states, which is a record for a dubbed Malayalam film in recent times.

This is a sensational amount, keeping in mind the unknown star cast of the film. SS Karthikeya made sure he promoted Premalu quite well in Hyderabad. As Rajamouli attended the pre-release event of Premalu, the buzz for the film picked up after he tweeted about the film and spoke at length in one of his interviews.

Also, Premalu was released at a time when no other major Telugu film was released. The word in the film circles is that Karthikeya spent less than Rs 5 crore to bag the dubbing rights and released the film on his own in several areas of Telugu states. All those involved with the Telugu version have seen massive profits.
Disney+ Hotstar has bagged the Tamil and Malayalam rights of Premalu and will stream the film from April 12, 2024. On the other hand, Aha has bagged the Telugu rights and is expected to release on the same date as the Malayalam version.
