Premalu Box Office – Naslen and Mamitha’s film crosses Rs. 85 crore mark; to surpass Neru, Bheeshma Parvam soon

Premalu box office collection - The romantic comedy which is helmed by Girish AD, has now emerged as one of the biggest box office successes of Malayalam cinema in recent times. The movie, which features Naslen K Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, is continuing its dream run even after completing the first 25 days of its release. The Premalu box office collection has now crossed the Rs. 85 crore mark worldwide and is set to surpass the final collections of Neru and Bheeshma Parvam.

As per the recent updates, Premalu, which has now completed the first 25 days of its release, has reportedly crossed the Rs. 85 crore mark at the worldwide box office. As reported earlier, the romantic comedy, which touched the Rs. 75 crore mark in 22 days, made over Rs. 10 crore in its fourth weekend alone, from the worldwide box office. This is undoubtedly a fantastic box office performance for the film, which is now nearing its final week at the theatres.

Premalu to surpass the lifetime collections of Bheeshma Parvam and Neru

In that case, Premalu has all the chances to take over the lifetime box office collections of Mammootty’s action thriller Bheeshma Parvam, and Mohanlal’s courtroom drama Neru, in another couple of days. The trade experts also suggest that Naslen K Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju’s romantic comedy has a high chance of entering the Rs. 100 crore within its lifetime run. The Malayalam version of the film is expected to cross at least the Rs. 95 crore mark before it leaves the theatres. The release of the Telugu version is expected to add to the overall collection.

If things proceed at the same rate, Premalu might even get an extended run at the theatres, considering the never-ending audience rush. The Girish AD directorial, however, is set to have its OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar, once the movie completes its theatrical run. However, the makers of the romantic comedy have not disclosed the release date, so far.
