Premalu box office: When it completed the first 30 days of its release, the romantic comedy helmed by Girish AD has now emerged as one of the all-time highest-grossing Malayalam films of recent times. As per the recent updates, Naslen and Mamitha Baiju’s film has surpassed the other two blockbusters of the year, Manjummel Boys and Bramayugam, to emerge as the first movie to cross the Rs. 50 crore mark at the Kerala box office.
As per the recent updates from the trade experts, Premalu has now made a total collection of Rs. 50 crore from the Kerala box office alone within the first 30 days of its release. Despite completing over a month at the theatres, Naslen and Mamitha Baiju’s film has been showing an extraordinary hold at the box office, thanks to excellent reviews and word-of-mouth publicity. Interestingly, Premalu is the ninth Malayalam film to cross the Rs. 50 crore mark in the state.

Notably, the Girish AD directorial has surpassed the Kerala box office collections of Malayalam’s biggest hit of recent times, Manjummel Boys, and Mammootty’s Bramayugam, to enter the Rs. 50 crore in the state. If things proceed at the same rate, the romantic comedy might collect over Rs. 55 crore from Kerala alone within its lifetime run at the theatres. The extended run at the theatres is definitely going to benefit the blockbuster movie, big time.
It is also now safe to assume that Premalu will join the Rs. 100 crore club of the Malayalam film industry this weekend. As per the recent updates, the Naslen-Mamitha Baiju starrer has already crossed the Rs. 93 crore mark at the worldwide box office. If things proceed at the same rate, the much-loved film will cross the Rs. 100 crore mark when it completes its fifth Monday at the theatres. The release of the Premalu Telugu version is expected to contribute heavily to the final collections of the film.
