There’s innate beauty to life when you look at it through the eyes of a child - their innocence, curiosity to explore, learn, question are indeed heartwarming. What if a film is made out of a dream of two kids to board a plane? What if they cross paths with a lovestruck couple? Then you have Prema Vimanam, a ZEE5 original film directed by Santosh Kata.
ZEE5 and Abhishek Pictures are joining hands for this light-hearted entertainer starring Sangeeth Shoban, Saanve Megghana, Anusuya Bharadwaj, Vennela Kishore, Devansh Nama and Anirudh Nama in key roles. SSMB28 star Mahesh Babu unveiled the teaser of the web film earlier today. “Presenting the teaser of #PremaVimanam! Wishing the team all the very best!,” he shared the glimpse.
The teaser commences with two kids in a village standing atop a rock and dreaming of boarding a flight some day. They have many questions to ask (such as ‘how does a plan fly so high?’ ) and their neighbour, who’s flustered, says even Wright Brothers wouldn’t have had so many queries about an aeroplane. The tale then moves onto a young couple and their bitter-sweet romantic escapades.
When the girl asks the guy what about her fascinates him so much, he replies it’s her ‘ears’. The couple encounters several problems in their relationship and there’s severe opposition from close quarters. Meanwhile, the two kids run away from their house; one even holds a gun while their mother searches for them. On a parting note, the kid asks, “how does one pee while in a flight?’
This is Sangeeth Shobhan’s second project with ZEE5 after Oka Chinna Family Story. Anup Rubens makes his web debut as a composer with the film. Cinematographer Jagadeesh Chikati, editor Amar Reddy, art director Gandhi Nadikudikar are also part of the crew. ZEE5’s other releases this year were Puli Meka, ATM, Writer Padmabhushan, to name a few.
