Dorasani is sung by musician, OTT show host Sreerama Chandra. Anup Rubens scores the music for the film while Ramajogaiah Sastry is the lyricist. The number is in place to establish the romance between Sangeeth Shobhan and Saanve Megghana in a village in Andhra Pradesh in 1990s. The secret meetings, the long landline calls, paper rockets and teenage innocence offer a sense of nostalgia.
In the song, Sangeeth meets Saanve through the window of her house; they communicate mostly through glances. While the boy is head over heels in love with the girl, she too gradually responds to his advances. Sreerama Chandra’s exuberant rendition, Anup Rubens’ catchy composition are complemented by the actors’ lively screen presence and equally impressive cinematography.
‘Oh pilla gaali taakinda..malle komma oogindha..poola jhallu challinda..naa gunde gillinda..’ the opening lines emphasise the youngster’s feelings for her lady love. The song strikes a chord within the first hearing. This is Sangeeth Shobhan’s second release in as many weeks; his feature film MAD is already a rage at the box office. Prema Vimanam is Saanve Megghana’s first release this year.
Jagadeesh Cheekati cranks the camera for the film. Amar Reddy Kudumula is the editor. Gandhi Nadikudikar is the production designer and Amrutha Lakshmi is the costume designer respectively. Mohit Rawlyani is the executive producer and Potini Vasu (CEO) is also part of the production team. Going by the promos, Prema Vimanam promises to be a feel-good OTT watch.
