Priyamani's Bhama Kalapam was a direct OTT release on Aha and ended as a decent hit. After a brief gap, the makers are ready with the sequel Bhama Kalapam 2. The makers are yet to announce the release date but released a song, Paruge Vinta Paruge today.
The song showcases the new life of Priyamani in a detailed manner. If Bhama Kalapam was set in a small apartment society, the sequel is set in a plush gated community. By the looks of it, Priyamani, who is a compulsive housewife will face new challenges in her gated community.
Prasanth R Vihari has composed the music for this song which showcases all the montages of Priyamani's newfound rich life. Abhimanyu has directed this series which also has Sarayna Pradeep in a key role. She is one of the most happening character artists and she will be seen in a crazy role.
Aha released the teaser a few days ago and it looks quite interesting. The teaser ignites anticipation with suspenseful dialogues that hint at a captivating heist featuring Priyamani and Sharanya. Priyamani reprises her role as Anupama from part one and is poised to embark on a thrilling heist adventure alongside her maid played by Saranya.
Priyamani's dialogues, the intense backdrop, and the comic touch to Saranya's character give an idea that Bhama Kalapam will also have situational comedy to its fullest. This is a dream role for Priyamani and the special aspect is that the sequel will be released in the theatres first and then will be out on OTT.
Dream Farmers, an association of Bapineedu B & Sudheer Edara the visionary creators behind Priyamani's Bhamakalapam and Vishwak Sen's Ashoka Vanamlo Arjun Kalyanam, are also producing this film.
Bhama Kalapam 2 has a stellar ensemble cast including Seerat Kapoor, Sharanya, Raghu Mukherjee, Anuj Gurwar, Brahmaji, and others. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
