Pradhan update: Will Soham Chakraborty join Dev in Avijit Sen’s film? | Exclusive

After the success of Projapoti, the superhit trio superstar Dev, director Avijit Sen, and producer Atanu Roy Chowdhury will be back with Pradhan. It has also been reported that veteran actor Paran Bandyopadhyay will once again share the screen with Dev after their hit film, Tonic. Now, according to sources, Soham Chakraborty has joined the team of Pradhan. There were media speculations over the collaborations between these two actors. However, there has been no confirmation from the producers, actors, or director’s team. 

Meanwhile, Soumitrisha will debut on the big screen with Pradhan. Earlier, the Mithai actress had said that the shooting would start in August. Dev has also divulged that the shooting will take place in North Bengal. Recently, Dev was interacting with his fans on Twitter. One fan asked him, “Dada, when are you coming to North Bengal?” The actor answered, “To shoot Pradhan.”  

Dev has completed shooting Byomkesh O Durgo Rohoshyo. Directed by Birsa Dasgupta, the film will release on August 11. Along with the actor as Byomkesh, Rukmini Maitra and Ambarish Bhattacharya will play Satyabati and Ajit, respectively. The film also features Shantilal Mukherjee, Satyam Bhattacharya, Debesh Chattopadhyay, and others. 

Meanwhile, Dev is ready with his Puja release, Bagha Jatin. Directed by Arun Roy, the film is based on freedom fighter Jatindranath Mukherjee. The film will be dropped on October 20.
