It was reported earlier that Prabhu Deva and Pa Vijay are teaming up for a crime thriller which will have Mahima Nambiar playing the female lead. During the launch of the project, the makers had revealed that the off-beat movie will have action and horror elements as well. 

The film, which has Pa Vijay writing screenplay and dialogues apart from directing it, features him as a lyricist, too. He has penned seven songs in the project. Deepak Kumar Padhy is in charge of cinematography while San Lokesh and Ganesan Sekar have handled the movie's editing and music respectively.       

Kalaiyarasan, Nasser, Arjai and Dheena among others will be seen essaying pivotal roles in the film. It was informed earlier that the shooting of the film which is being planned to wrap up in three months' time will take place in Chennai and Kerala. Now, they have revealed that the crew has shot in the famous Aagaya Gangai waterfalls in Kolli Hills. 

Interestingly, not many films have been shot in the popular tourist place. According to a source, the cast and crew of the project, comprising of more than 300 people, starts their journey early in the morning to reach the spot.  

The makers also revealed a few stills and videos shot at the waterfalls. Prabhu Deva, Mahima Nambiar, Devadarshini, Dheena and Arjai were a few artists who were part of the sequences shot there. The shooting of the movie kicked off recently. The untitled project is the fourth directorial flick of Pa Vijay. Methavi, which he had announced a while ago with Jiiva and Raashi Khanna in lead roles, is yet to be wrapped up.
