Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan's Adipurush faces massive trolls on social media, Twitterati slams makers for poor VFX

Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, has been riding on huge expectations, thanks to the mythology element involved in it. Movie lovers were curious to see Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan in the roles of Ram and Ravan respectively, and they have been looking forward to its teaser.

However, the promo video which was unveiled yesterday left them shocked. The teaser has garnered unanimous negative response from various quarters, thanks to its poor VFX shots and unrealistic costumes and looks in which Prabhas and Saif appear in it. Kriti Sanon's Sita is the only relief factor in the video which has Devdatta Nage, too, facing backlash in the role of Hanuman.

Fans of Prabhas from Bollywood and Tollywood, who have been pinning hopes on the big budget movie to become the ideal comeback for the star, are yet to come to terms with the fact that this is a project which has been made in ₹500 crores.

Twitterati slammed the makers for the unbearably made teaser, which according to them, is likely to end up as a colossal disappointment. The film is slated to release in theatres on January 12, 2023, and they wonder if the team has enough time to work on its VFX and other underwhelming aspects.

Billed as a pan Indian film, this is Prabhas' third mammoth project after Saaho and Radhe Shyam, post the immense popularity he gained from the Baahubali franchise. Om Raut's first Hindi film Tanhaji was a blockbuster, and the movie hit the headlines recently after Ajay Devgn won the National Award under Best Actor category for his performance in it.    

With Adipurush, cinephiles were expecting something much ahead of what he created in Tanhaji. Prabhas coming on board as its protagonist elevated the hype to another level, evoking interest among Telugu audience as well.
