Telugu superstar Prabhas stole the spotlight at the San Diego Comic-Con as he unveiled the teaser for his much-awaited sci-fi extravaganza, Project K, which has been officially titled Kalki 2898 AD. While the teaser might give the impression of a serious and intense role for Prabhas, the actor surprised fans with his revelation about his character being the "only comedian" in the entire movie.

"It's a superhero film. The interesting part is he's really funny. I like the way Nag has designed my character. I think he's the only funny guy in the whole Project K. Nag is also very good at writing emotional scenes. So the film is also high on emotions. I'm the only comedian in the film," Prabhas said during an interaction with Deadline Hollywood.

The teaser of Kalki 2898 AD gave audiences a glimpse into a futuristic world bearing a striking resemblance to the iconic Hollywood movie Stars Wars. Set in a distant future, the film follows a tyrant's rule over a multicultural society, leaving helpless common people in despair. As the authorities become increasingly oppressive, a mythical force emerges to protect the innocent.

While the teaser showcased characters played by Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, fans noticed the absence of Kamal Haasan. When questioned about Kamal's presence in the teaser, director Nag Ashwin cryptically stated, "he was there in the teaser," leaving fans intrigued about the actor's role in the film.

Kalki 2898 AD has already generated immense excitement among fans, with Prabhas's unexpected comedic twist adding another layer of intrigue to the upcoming superhero epic.
