It was only a day back we had reported that actor-filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan will be collaborating with makers of Pushpa, for his fourth film. The project's 'first shot boom' was released by the makers on social media on Wednesday. Directed by debutant Keerthiswaran, the film will have Premalu fame actor Mamitha Baiju as the female lead. The film’s shooting has begun.
PR 04: Pradeep Ranganathan’s new film launched with debutant
Mythri Movie Makers who bankrolled Pushpa, and producing Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly, is now making a new film in Tamil. Starring Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, the film will be helmed by debutant filmmaker Keerthiswaran, who is a former assistant of director Sudha Kongara.
The ‘first shot boom’ was released on Wednesday. Pradeep will be collaborating with Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, for the first time. The video shows the inaugural ceremony taking place with the lead cast and crew taking part in it.
Composer Sai Abhyankkar, who has given hit singles like Katchi Sera, Aasa Kooda and Sithiri Puthiri, will be scoring the music. Besides Pradeep and Mamitha, the film will also feature Hridhu Haroom, Sarathkumar and others. The post theatrical streaming rights of the film have been bagged by Netflix. This film marks Mythri’s second Tamil venture. Niketh Bommi will be cranking the camera and Barath Vikraman is the editor.

Pradeep Ranganathan has starred in two films Dragon and Love Today, both of which are blockbuster successes at the box office. The films are bankrolled by AGS Entertainment and are available on Netflix for streaming.
Now all eyes are set on Pradeep’s next film which will be with director Vignesh Shivan. Titled Love Insurance Kompany, the film is a futuristic romance drama which is yet to get a release date. Krithi Shetty, SJ Suryah and Gouri Kishan are part of the cast. A release date is yet to be announced.-
