Samantha was in the news when her film Shaakuntalam ended as a mega-flop at the box office. Well, she went underground post the release and did not face the media much. Now, she is busy wrapping up her latest film Khushi which also stars Vijay Deverakonda as the main lead. Shiva Nirvana directed this film which is a romantic drama and has Vennela Kishore in a key role.

On the other hand, Samantha will also give the finishing touches to her latest web series, Citadel, alongside Varun Dhawan. The show directed by Raj and DK will showcase Smanatha in an action-packed avatar after The Family Man 2 series which was a solid hit on OTT.

Apart from these two projects, Samantha has not signed any other project to date. News has also come out that Samantha will take a long break until next year and concentrate on her health. It is a known fact that Samantha is facing health issues ever since she was diagnosed with Myositis, a year back.

Now, the news is that Samantha has consulted a doctor in the US and he has advised her to move to the US for further treatment. Samantha has made all plans and as soon as she wraps up her pending films, she will fly to the US and be there for a few months and get treated.

Samantha has been going through a series of problems in her life. First, it was a bitter divorce from her husband Naga Chaitanya. Sam was trolled heavily for her separation but the star actress stood firm and handled the situation on her own. Even before she moved on with her personal life, Samantha was diagnosed with Myositis, a rare disorder that took a toll on her body.

Even after all this, Samantha went ahead and completed Shaakuntalam and has also wrapped up two other projects. She is now finally all set to concentrate on her health and we wish her all the best.
