Post delay in release, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan becomes the most awaited Hindi film, beats Hera Pheri 3 too

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has been in news throughout. The movie’s release date was postponed from June 6. It looks like the news worked in the favour of the film, since Jawan is now the most awaited Hindi film.

Ormax Media has revealed the list of most awaited Hindi films. This is till May 15, 2023 and includes only those movies which release post July and whose trailers aren’t released yet.

Jawan climbed the ladder and beat Hera Pheri 3 this week. The latter has been a cult in Bollywood and thus, the third installment is one of the most awaited. Despite that, Jawan is the most awaited Hindi film currently.

Even before Jawan, Pushpa: The Rule is the most awaited movie. However, the film isn’t originally shot in Hindi or features a Hindi-speaking actor and thus, Jawan is the most awaited Hindi movie as of now.

Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 is at the third spot (if you do not count Pushpa). The movie is one of the most awaited for various reasons. Emraan Hashmi joins the franchise, as an antagonist. Apart from that, Salman made his cameo as Tiger in the highest-grossing film of the year, Pathaan. Ever since, Tiger 3 has been one of the most awaited and the collaboration even paved way for Pathaan vs Tiger.

Prabhas’ film post Adipurush, Salaar, is the least awaited film. The movie is also not originally in Hindi. Nonetheless, it made it to top five, at the last spot.
