Baby is one of the most talked about films in Telugu cinema in 2023. The low-budget drama has shocked one and all with its bold subject and intense narrative. Baby has grossed over Rs 50 crores at the box office and surprised even the trade experts in Tollywood. Sai Rajesh directed this film which had Anand Deverakonda, Viraj Ashwin, and Vaishnavi Chaitanya as the main leads.
On the other hand, Baby was produced by SKN on his Mass Movie Makers. This is his second production after Taxiwala with Vijay Deverakonda. Taxiwala was also a big hit and gave Vijay a new lease of stardom in his career. Now, SKN has given Vijay's brother, Anand Deverakonda his career's biggest hit. The manner in which SKN produces his films and keeps them in the news has become a talking point all over.
Well, we have now come to know that his next film is also going to be a hard-hitting drama. The said project will be directed by Sandeep Raj, who last made the National Award Winning film Color Photo. The shooting of the film will begin soon and some big names have been roped in for the project. The news is also that this film will be a multi-starrer and SKN will go all out with the production.
On the other hand, Baby is in no mood to slow down. Despite heavy rains, the film is attracting youth to the theaters. Baby is about a middle-class girl who dates two guys at the same time. Vaishnavi Chaitanya's performance is one of the highlights of the film. Anand Deverakonda plays an auto driver in the film and his sincere performance has also got him a good name.
SKN, the producer has planned a few post-release promotions this weekend to keep the film in the news. In the US too, Baby has crossed half a million which is phenomenal for a small film. We need to see how much more will Baby make in the days to come.
